It was very nice hotel with cleanliness. Staff behavior was good and polite. They welcome us very well. Issue was only that Lift was not in working and we were allotted to 3rd floor and amenities articles were in corner of gallery which were giving bad feeling. Breakfast was good and support of the staff was also very nice. Location is not good as per atmosphere, it is very nearby most of the popular places but self location in a narrow street is not good. Overall it was a good experience and could recommend.

Our stay was flawless. We had a beautiful room that had amazing views of the water. The property itself feels very well maintained and clean. The staff is so accommodating and so nice. Our server Benita from the breakfast buffet provided us with great service throughout our stay (we made sure to ask for her all 4 times we visited the buffet). The pool was really nice and they had swim up bars which provided great food and drinks. We rented out one of the beach bungalows and it was a nice experience. Grand Hilton was one of the best places we have stayed and we intend to come back!

Second time at Grand Hilton and will not stay at another hotel in Sri Lanka. Service is outstanding! Staff is so pleasant, attentive, and committed to make sure all guests are happy. The Hotel grounds are so well taken care of and so beautiful. There is space for everyone and many choices for the guests. The beach area is very refreshing and charming. But please - just do not take my room because that will make me mad. :-) Jokes aside, this hotel is unparalleled and I will stay here many times. During my two weeks stay, I met guests that had been going back for 25+ times. That says something. Another bonus are the restaurants. Order the pineapple margarita in the actual pineapple. You will thank me later. If you do not feel like going out, just order room service and Portal will bring it to your balcony with a smile on his face. I believe the restaurants at the hotel are better than all the restaurants I ate in Sri. In summary, your search for a place to stay in Sri Lanka should end here. Just book it and you will understand what I mean.
